It also increased productive stem percentage, grains per ear, post-anthesis dry matter production, post-anthesis nitrogen uptake, total nitrogen uptake at maturity, grain nitrogen accumulation, fertilizer-nitrogen recovery efficiency, and agronomic efficiency.
